This Is How Sudhanshu Worked Through Work Pressure, Anger, And Emotional Strain Through Therapy

Mar 12, 2026

“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.” -Buddha

Sudhanshu, a 35-year-old Senior Lecturer and Chemistry tutor at Akash Institute, is a dedicated professional with over ten years of teaching experience. An alumnus of IIT Roorkee, where he completed his B.Tech and M.Tech in Geophysical Technology, Sudhanshu is deeply committed to personal growth and effective teaching. His journey toward emotional balance began when mounting work pressure began affecting his mood and overall well-being.

Sudhanshu started noticing changes in his behavior, especially feelings of anger that were unfamiliar to him.

“I felt like nobody else was feeling the same type of emotions I was facing. Earlier, there was no anger issue, so I started worrying about it.”

He realized that the pressure of his packed schedule and constant responsibilities had taken a toll on his emotional health.
“I think I made myself very occupied, and that is why I was facing these problems. My schedule was hectic, and it affected my mental health.”

This growing awareness pushed him to seek counselling on his own, without external pressure.

“I thought I should go for this by myself.”

Sudhanshu discovered YourDOST through the services provided by his company

“I was scrolling through something, and I came across YourDOST. I clicked it and found that there were counselling sessions available, so I decided to try it.”

His first interaction with the counsellors left a positive impression.

“It was very nice. I felt like talking again. They patiently listened to my concerns, and I felt very good because I had not shared these thoughts with anyone before.”

For Sudhanshu, expressing his thoughts openly became a turning point.
“I realized that I was not sharing my thoughts, and that is why I was feeling these anger issues. Then I started to share them.”

Through therapy, Sudhanshu was introduced to grounding and mindfulness techniques. They suggested many techniques like the five-sense technique. I tried them, and they were good. Earlier, I followed them regularly.

These exercises helped him become more aware of his emotional state and reactions.

“They helped me realize what was the issue behind my behavior and why it was happening. That was very good.”

Gradually, he learned to restructure his routine and bring balance to his daily schedule.

“I rethought and replanned my schedule. Earlier, it was hectic, and that is why I was facing these problems.”
“Yes, I saw positive changes. I felt very light-hearted.”

Sudhanshu noticed improvements not only in his emotional health but also in his teaching style.

“A more effective way of teaching.”
He believes therapy helps individuals understand the root cause of their struggles and navigate them with clarity.

“I think it is very good, and everybody should go for these sessions if they have issues like depression, anxiety, or anything else. It is very helpful.”

Expressing gratitude, he says,
“Thanks for the help, and keep on doing that. “

Sudhanshu rates his progress as 4 out of 5 and shares that he is doing well today.

Sudhanshu’s Warrior Tips:

1.”If you are facing issues related to stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges, counselling can help you understand and manage them better. Give it a try with an open mind.”
