You are on the right path dear. You don't need to worry about anything. You are absolutely fine. I can see myself in you.I used to be like you when I was 22 now I'm 28.I will share my story with you and wish to guide you on this path.
Back then I was also more into spirituality but it helped me to find myself, my passion, my dreams everything.
Before that I never had any passion I didn't know what to do. I felt worthless nd unfit.I used to do nothing. Then slowly I moved to being spiritual nd let me tell u people find u odd nd unfit if u r spiritual. They make u feel that there is something wrong with you for being so in this century. They criticize, make fun of us. I have been through all this.
I always wanted to do something BIG in life but didn't know what to do nd how to do it. At 25 I found myself, my goals, my dreams, my passion. But as I was so much into meditation nd chanting mantras, listening to gurus procrastinated to work on my passion.
As I'm receiving ultimate gyaan I wanted to work on that first but I was wrong. We r humans we r here to perform certain duties (karmas) spirituality should support us it shouldn't stop us . Learn to BALANCE your personal life and spiritual life .
As I procrastinated to work on my goals I faced criticism even from my parents, they made me feel worthless, people called me names, they laughed at me, they make fun of me saying that I shouldn't have born in THIS century..... Why... Only becoz I'm spiritual (it's not that I'm not modern or fashionable I AM) nd I have utmost faith in ALMIGHTY.
Now I regret that I was too much into spirituality. I also have this guilt that I started my career a bit late. Anyway I'm successful(run my own business) now after all that. So PLEASE Don't commit the same mistake.I DO NOT want you to go through the same pain, anxiety and mental trauma. Please don't neglect your studies in fact try to know more about yourself, your interests, your passion, your dreams...learn everything about yourself... Learn how to be kind nd compassionate towards other beings, towards nature, learn how to be a BETTER YOU being SPIRITUAL.
Generally people understand that retiring from our ordinary duties, one becomes spiritually advanced. It is not like that. Krishna taught to the whole world that arjuna was a fighter, and in his fighting also he can be krishna conscious. It is not that he has to cease from fighting and then become krishna conscious. No. There is no such question. There is no rejection of anything, but dovetailing everything. That is the process.
In bhagavad gita also LORD KRISHNA said to ARJUNA " Everyone is here to perform their karmas even I'm here to perform my duties. Nothing is impossible for me, nothing can stop me, I can achieve and acquire anything I want in all the lokas but still I'm here in this world performing my karmas. So never deviate from performing your duties "
Superior are those who practice karm yog and continue to work diligently to fulfill their responsibilities.
Shree Krishna says that all living beings are an integral part of God’s creation and have roles and responsibilities to fulfill. Vedas prescribe performing yagna to please the celestial gods, who in-return bestow material gains. These yagnas cause rains to fall, which aids in the production of food grains for the sustenance of life on earth. Those who live only for the delight of their senses and do not accept their responsibility in this cycle— are sinful and living in vain. However, Shree Krishna says that when works or prescribed duties are performed as an obligation to God, they are also considered yagna (sacrifice). He then explains that unlike the rest of humankind, the enlightened souls are not obliged to fulfill their bodily responsibilities. They are situated in knowledge of the self and execute higher responsibilities of the soul. However, they do not abandon their social duties, as it may create disharmony in the minds of the common people who look up to them for inspiration. Therefore, the wise continue to work without any personal motive only to set good examples for others to follow, else, the ignorant may abandon their prescribed duties prematurely.
I hope you will follow karm yog path and attain your higher self one day. God bless you.
