Thanks for reaching out with such a valid question that I am sure many of us have on our mind but have never really actually brought it out and expressed it.
We all go through phases, and times when we just don't want to do anything.. we don't feel like it..everything is boring and life is just a series of repeated actions of a mundane routine. This is when drabness sets in... in our looks in our demeanor.
To begin with an attitude of gratitude helps!
Every morning as soon as you wake up.. aren't you happy.. that you have a warm and comfortable bed to sleep on last night?.. many don't! Aren't you happy that you have woken up with all your limbs and body is fit and fine?.. many are fighting all kinds of illnesses. when you walk in to the bathroom to freshen up, and look at yourself in the mirror.. its important to smile look deep into your own eyes.. and wish yourself..the only long term relationship you have from the time you open your eyes at birth to the time you die is with yourselfdon't you think you deserve to be wished and smiled at by yourself?
Life is first meant to be loved, love yourself first, be grateful for all the blessings that you have, all the strengths that you possess.. and watch the magic unfold:) you will soon notice the twinkle in your eyes that you did not notice earlier when you were busy focusing on the expression in them or the size of them.
Life is to meant to be lived. Go out -for a walk, for a run, for a jog.. near nature every morning.. and feel nature take the drabness out of you.One month of a daily interaction with nature every morning and see yourself brighten up and light up the environment around you.
Life is meant to be laughed with... watch comedy shows that will make you laugh, read jokes after every hour or two of serious work.. that will bring a smile and a chuckle on your face.. and learn to chill, not to take yourself or others too seriously.
Hope this helps!
Keep smiling, and watch the happiness, cheer and brightness radiate from within you.
