I completely understand the resistance you are facing for self-motivation.
Feeling motivated when you are depressed is the toughest thing to do.I do agree to it
Whatever the situation is,YOU need to keep going. Exercise, Work or Social interactions may not work for everybody. Every person has their own way of coping up with things. Do not be so hard on yourself. You need to find a way that makes you feel good in this situation you are in.
The rock on you will always be there, only YOU can take it away and it’s not an impossible task.
Make a list of things which you want to do, but not able to. Start making an effort to do at least one per day.
Self-Neglect is the main thing we do when we feel depressed. Sleep well, it gives you the strength to face the next day. Take care of yourself, It makes you feel better.
You don’t have to be social, just surround yourself with positive people.
Just Smile, you may not need a reason to do so. I am sure it will automatically lift your mood.
Its a phase and it will pass and you can overcome it. Trust yourself, Be strong and the ROCK will slowly dissolve
