Thank you for expressing your thoughts here.
Anxiety often reflects an intense worry we have about something going wrong, or some things appearing beyond our control, which is where we fear them going in a way that we cannot manage or handle - and that if it so happened, it would be just terrible. Does this sound relatable to you?
I hear that the uncertainties of the future seem to be causing you anxiety? I am wondering if there is something specific you are talking about - something in particular being uncertain in the future, that makes you feel anxious? Maybe identifying that could help?
I invite you to think for yourself and find answers to some of these questions -----
What about the future you specifically find uncertain? and why does the uncertainty bother you? Is there something you wish happens in a certain way only, and hence you seek to have control over it? Is there something you wish to have control over, about the future, but not having that control makes you feel anxious? What does uncertainty mean to you - what does it mean to not have something in control.... and if you cannot control something, what would really happen... would it really be that bad? These are lines I would encourage you to think on.
Our emotional experience is deeply tied to our thoughts... and our thoughts can more often be concretely accessed - as in, you can be aware of your thoughts and note them down - and then see where your anxiety is really coming from. And that could guide you to managing your anxiety better, by working on restructuring your thoughts, maybe, by replacing them with more comforting and reassuring thoughts and beliefs about yourself, the world and the future.
I hope that made sense, and that this gives you some perspective.
