It is nice to see that you have identified, and taken a step to break out of your present unsatisfactory situation.
To begin with, you could start with a small exercise on getting to know yourself better. List down all your strengths and weaknesses on a paper. Pat yourself on the back for all the strengths, and commit to overcoming your weaknesses, one at a time. Take the easiest weakness to work on. Understand the background of the weakness selected, find a solution, then apply the solution to the weakness, to find the desired result.
When we manage to overcome a weakness, we actually make it our strength then. This small success will be enough to give us an ego boost, to motivate us to move on to the next one. As we keep converting our weaknesses into strengths, our motivation level will keep increasing and will push us to do better, not only in the selected area of change, but also other areas of life which we want to see changes in. As we keep working with smaller weaknesses and move on to not so small weaknesses, it will not seem as difficult to look at the real large difficult to convert weakness, which we once thought was impossible to overcome.
However, do remember not to give up if at all you come across any hurdles. Take it as a personal challenge to do even better. Nothing changes overnight, hard work, persistence, and dedication is very important.
Also, it would be nice if you could come online for a one on one chat with one of the experts of your choice. That way, you could be guided in a more dedicated manner. However, you have to be self-committed to go after, and ensure that you do all that is necessary to see the desired results for a healthy and emotionally satisfying outcome.
